A Body Prepared

wherefore coming into the world, saying, 'sacrifice and offering not desiring, on the other hand a  body prepared me.'*

Jesus became flesh, coming into the world, but God did not desire a sacrifice nor an offering, what he desired was a body prepared. This word prepared means to restore, put in order, mend; to make complete, equip, train; to prepare, ordain. Just before Jesus died on a cross, he said it has been finished, completed, fulfilled.*  It took a prepared body, a living sacrifice, to restore, and to complete, and this was the will of God. It is what God desires of us today, it is our reasonable service, to present our bodies a living sacrifice, consecrated to God.* God wills a body, one prepared beforehand, for His work.

Not approving, not taking pleasure in burnt offering concerning sin, at the time saying, behold coming, in the volume of the book it is written about me, to do your will O God... then at the time saying behold coming to do your will, doing away with the first to establish the second.*

What God desired was not a sacrifice nor an offering, but a body, who would do the will of God. This will of God was to do away with the first covenant, that which did not consecrate, perfect the server through sacrifices and offering, and did not take away sin leaving still a consciousness of sin, year after year. This desire or will of God was to establish a new covenant, a will, in which it took a death to establish. A will is a testament, therefore Jesus established a new testament, a new covenant, this is what God desired. Jesus was born under the Law so to do away with the old testament to establish a new testament, under Grace. Therefore God desired a body who would do his will, to establish a New Testament, a will, a covenant.

for this exists my blood, the covenant, the one poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.*

John the baptist came preparing the way for Jesus, but he said the one who would come after him, the Lamb of God would take away the sins of the world. The old covenant was a shadow of things to come, if it had perfected, completed, restored men there would be no need of a better promise, no need of a better sacrifice of blood, no need for one taking away the sin of the world. It took a death to establish a will, therefore it is a new covenant in His blood. It took a spotless lamb, a pure one, not the blood of animals but a Lamb of God, "... on the other hand a body prepared for me."* Yes, the body had to be pure, consecrated, holy, without sin.

which not according to the Law, to be created a fleshly commandment but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.*

If perfection existed through the first priesthood (for under it the people received the Law) there would be no need for a new covenant, nor that His blood be shed. The Law had exposed the sinful nature of man, saying none were righteous, no not one. God did not desire a sacrifice nor an offering, what he desired was a body prepared, a righteous man who would live an indestructible life. Jesus presented his body, "yea the bread that I present exists the one my flesh, on behalf of the world."* The bread in the old temple, was called the consecrated bread.* It was made by fire, as a covenant forever, and for the priests the most holy portion of the food offerings, an everlasting statute.* A shadow of things to come, the body God desired was to be prepared, consecrated by fire, to offer a holy life. He came to give his flesh, his body on behalf of the world.

And for them I consecrate myself, so that they also exist consecrated in truth.*

The fullness of the godhead existed in Jesus and he was also 100% man, who became a body prepared, consecrated, holy, acceptable to God. He was the word of God but lived in the flesh, living a sinless life, thus on the basis of the power of an indestructible life, he became a pure offering for sin. And He established an oath, a will that also took His death, establishing a new covenant in His blood. He consecrated himself, for those who would believe in Him so that they also exist consecrated in truth. "I am not asking you take them out of the world, but that you protect them from the evil one. Existing not belonging to the world, just as I do not belong to the world, consecrate them in truth, your words are truth. As you sent me into the world, I have also sent them into the world, and for them I consecrate myself, so that they also exist consecrated in truth."*

Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body preparing me
