“ I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect ” (Romans 12:1-2). We have heard of the Roman Road and how it addresses righteousness and justification in Jesus Christ however if we continue on the road, we see the way to sanctification. David is dying and he brings Solomon before him and tells him of the promise of God; "i f your sons are careful of their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel " (1 Kings 2:4). On his death bed David gives Solomon political advice telling him he needs to be careful of his way, to be wise and discerning, he has friends and enemies, v.5-8.
