Eternal Home

For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens - 2 Corinthians 5:1

How do we have an eternal home? What resides in this tent that we live in, this body, this tent that will be taken down one day? The Holy Spirit resides in this tent. The eternal Spirit resides in this tent.

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6-7)

It is an amazing truth, when Christ made us alive we were raised and seated with Christ in the heavenlies. Such a thing is made possible because of the eternal blood of the covenant, the eternal redemption, and the eternal Spirit (Hebrews 9:12-1, Hebrews 13:20). Such a thing is explainable if we exist spirit, soul, and body and our salvation, redemption speaks of each. To be raised and seated with Christ in the heavenlies is a magnificent view of what Christ has done for us, who we are as children of God, and how the victory is already accomplished in Christ.

Eternal blood of the covenant, eternal redemption, and the eternal Spirit residing in us, one of adoption that testifies we are his children. Blessed are we with all spiritual blessings from the heavens in Christ (Ephesians 1). That these blessings are eternal puts weight behind the words of Jesus, that he would lose none that the Father gives him, the ones the Father grants to him, and that nothing nor no one can snatch them from his hands.

In the old covenant, the Spirit dwelled in a house, a building, a temple made by the hands of man, and Moses was a servant in that house. In the new covenant in which we are released from the old and bound to Christ, we are made alive in Christ who is the Son of the house. And though our tent is mortal and corruptable the Spirit of Christ dwells in it and "we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."

The Spirit moans within this earthly tent waiting for the glorious freedom of the children of God. In this tent, we await salvation, the redemption of our bodies, when we will dwell in a building from God, eternal in the heavens. There will be no more sting of death, no more pain, and suffering, no more tears... Glorious freedom as children of God.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God and existing! (1 John 3:1).

We exist, at present children of God! not one day will be, though one day we will receive a body like Christs'. So no longer regard one another according to this tent, the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16). Those of the house of faith past, thought and spoke this way, they died in this tent without receiving the promise, though they saw from a distance and embraced in their thoughts and hearts, "acknowledging the same that existing foreigners and residing in a country, not their own. For the ones speaking this way emphasize that they seek one's native home" (Hebrews 11:13-14).
