Called To Glory

Of what great love has the Father given to us that called children of God, and existing!... Beloved at the present existing children of God, and not yet brought to light what we exist knowing that when brought to light existing like Him, since seeing him just as existing. And everyone having this hope in him purifies himself, just as He is pure.*

What manner of love is this that we exist children of God! John writes to those who receive, who believe in Jesus they are given the power to become children of God.* The promise of inheritance that would come through Christ, given to Abraham, and whom the Holy Spirit exists a pledge of the promise for those who believe.* Being a child of God has great implications not only to how we are suppose to live but also in how we are suppose to love one another. If we truly were of glory we would practice righteousness and would be known by our love for one another. We are called to glory and the children of glory practice righteousness and love the brethren.

In love he predestined us for adoption as his own through Jesus Christ, according to his good pleasure.*

In Christ we are blessed with every spiritual blessings from the heavenlies; adoption, redemption, and the forgiveness of sin. The blessing of adoption says in love he chose me, according to the riches of His grace. This adoption is through the Spirit whom testifies that we are his children, "because existing sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, whom cries Abba Father!"*  A Spirit of adoption, "for not receiving the spirit of slavery back to fear, but receiving the Spirit of adoption in whom cries Abba Father!"* If we were only blessed with a testimony of Spirit, and blood, it would be enough, but he calls us to a higher calling, holiness, in which he continues to bless us.

And everyone having this hope in him purifies himself, just as He is pure.*

There is a heavenly calling that those who seek holiness partake.* Those who are called strive for holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.* If God seed has been planted within me then I have been called, I am indebted to righteousness and the seed of righteousness will grow up to bear fruit of righteousness. "I press on toward the goal, for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."* Paul writes when the race is finished he will receive a crown of righteousness and life. The high calling is about bearing fruit of righteousness. Those who have this hope in him purifies themselves just a He is pure. How is hope produced for those who seek holiness?

... we rejoice in hope, the glory of God, now, not only that but we rejoice in our sufferings knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Now, hope doesn't disappoint because the love of God is poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.*

What is the purpose of suffering? That we share in His holy character.* Suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character, or as James writes "consider it all joy brothers when you encounter various trials, knowing the proving of your faith produces endurance, now having endurance, having its intended work, so that existing mature and complete, lacking in nothing."* Do you see how we become mature, take on his holy character, and have pure religion unstained from this world? And do you see how those who hope in him purify themselves just as He is pure? Character produces hope, in other words when we mature in character hope is produced, so those who have this hope in him purify themselves. We rejoice in hope, because we are sharing in the holy character, the glory of God. Paul explains it like running a race, when we endure the proving, we mature, or possess more of his holy character.

As far as we, the one hoping in Christ, exist the praise of his glory.*

We have been blessed from the heavenlies in Christ Jesus. Adopted we have obtained an inheritance, "predestined according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to his will."* Those adopted are called to participate in his holy character, "even as he chose us in Him before creation of the world existing holy also in the sight of him in love."* God's children exist in the sight of Him loved, "now hope doesn't disappoint because the love of God is poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us."* How important is love! God was rich in mercy through His great love for us, though we were dead he made us alive together in Christ Jesus, by grace we are saved, also raising us up and seating us in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.* This to demonstrate to the ages to come the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Through his great love for us, through the blessings we receive in Christ Jesus the issue of God's holiness is solved, we grow  up and partake  of his character.

To them God chose to make known in the people, the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.*

We are becoming like Christ pure, a holy  people set apart. Why is Christ the hope of glory? Because know  I will be like him. is glory just going to heaven? or is glory displayed in the people, becoming like Christ? We are a chosen people, predestined to be holy, called to be holy, called out of darkness into his marvelous Light, and by such we declare the glory of God.* We are being transformed into glory, Jesus being the hope of glory, "with unveiled faces beholding in a mirror, the glory of the Lord, transformed into the very likeness, from glory to glory, even as the Lord's Spirit."* The glory of heaven is that we will be like Jesus, complete, whole. Though we don't fully know, by faith we get to look into the glory, presently it is like looking into a cloudy mirror but face to face we will fully know and be fully known.* "Beloved at the present existing children of God, and not yet brought to light what we will exist, knowing that when brought to light existing like Him, since seeing him just as existing, And everyone having this hope in him purifies himself, just as He is pure."* To endure, to receive a crown and to be sure of your calling, it is like a boy entering into manhood, but much more he is becoming a spiritual man that displays the holy character of Christ. There is much hope that exists from God and deserved boasting to have been proven great, a man of God.

And he called you into this salvation though this our gospel, to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.*

We are called to share in his glory, which is to share his holy character. "because those he foreknew also predestined, to conform to the image of His Son, to the extent that he exists firstborn among many brethren. Now, those predestined, these also called, and these called also justified, now, these justified, these also glorified."* Do we see what it means to be transformed from glory to glory? If you are in Christ you are called to become holy, to conform to the image of His Son. "And knowing that all things work together for good, for the one loving God, the one existing called according to purpose."* We love God because he first loved us, we were chosen to become like Jesus, he being the first. Did God display his wrath to vessels of wrath, to make the riches of his glory known to vessels of his mercy? yes, he prepared some in advance for destruction and some in advance for glory.* By the good pleasure of his will.

Also knowing that he appeared so to take away our sins and existed no sin in him. No one abiding in Him sins, no one sins seeing him neither knowing him.*

Do you know Jesus? The Greek word for know speaks of experiential knowledge of Jesus but also assurance, to know something as complete and settled; to be master of a thing; to ascertain by examination, to discern. So do you know Jesus? Have you looked at him, examined him, beheld him? Do you know he was without sin? Now, examining Christ are you a Christian? Are you like Christ? He appeared to take away sin. "little children, no one leads you astray, the one practicing godliness exists righteous. The one practicing sin exists of the devil, because the devil sinned from the beginning, the Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil."* If Christ came to destroy the works of the devil and you are practicing sin, whose author is the devil, what does that say about you? Is there condemnation in Christ? no. Is the one in Christ called to share in glory, in his holy character? yes. If you are a child of God then you have internal testimony of Spirit and blood. And you are a son of obedience, do not let anyone say different about your youth. But do not be a hypocrite pretending to be something you are not, walk in that already obtained, seeking that which is ahead, it is your reasonable service and high calling, to share in His holy character.

No one born of God practices sin, because God's seed abides in him and not a sinnerr because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are revealed; all the ones not practicing righteousness exist not of God also the one not loving his brother.*

The word sin ἁμαρτία (hamartia) means missing the mark but also it means "not a part, share of." Consecration and sanctification and holiness come from the word ἁγιασμός (hagiasmos) derived from holy and of the idea of a people set apart, holy unto God. A sinner is not a part of the kingdom of God, whereas those knowing Christ are marked with the Holy Spirit, set apart, circumcised of the heart by the Spirit. A sinner misses the mark, he is not apart of, does not share in, is not of the holy, the saints, God's children, "but you exist in Christ Jesus who became for us wisdom from God, and these righteousness and sanctification, and redemption."* The child of God knows the father and that his sins are forgiven, the child is called to maturity, to grow up into his salvation, as John writes the young person is strong as the word of God abides in Him, overcoming evil. "Now, freed from sin and devoted to God, the fruit you have leads to holiness, now, the outcome is Life."* The one born of God, he is a partaker of divine nature, born of the Spirit, the seed of God, of righteousness, is planted in him, he is destined and thus indebted to grow up into righteousness and life, he will not continue in sin. In being a child of God we see the implications of being a part of holiness, it says we have grown up into our salvation. If we are called into holiness we need to make sure of our calling, lest we fall short as the lost, in this a child of God can not continue in sin. We also see the implications of loving God's children, we are called out of darkness into his marvelous, we should be known by our love for one another as Jesus said. Paul  writes the bond of love leads to maturity.

We know that we have crossed over from death to life because we love the brothers, the one not loving his brother abides in death.*

Being a child of God is a great blessing, what great love the Father shows that we are called children! It is a blessing to be chosen by grace but salvation does not end with forgiveness and a trip to heaven, no, we are predestined to be a holy people of all nations and of all peoples set apart for glory, to true glory. We are called from sin to righteousness, from darkness to light, from hate to love, from death to life. And this is how we know we have passed from death to life when we love His brethren. Think about the implications of this and how it reveals God's children from that of the devil. The message we have heard from the beginning is to love our brother, to be unlike Cain who hated his brother who was righteous. Jesus gave a new command which was really this message. There is something wrong with a church who in the name of loving the lost, those not his children, would turn their hearts from His children. Do you not know what you do to the least of these His brethren you do to him? This is the command to believe and love your brother. "In this we know love, that he laid down His life for us. Also we are obligated to lay down our lives for the brothers. Now, whoever has the worlds resources and sees his brother in need yet turns his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him."* Those who practice righteousness and love their brother, these are the children of God.* John writes the one who abides in Him does not sin, and loves His brethren. The anointing teaches us to abide in Him.* We are called to glory, Jesus is the hope of glory, abiding in Him is how we mature and bear fruit of glory.

The Tripartite Nature of Humanity: Spirit, Soul, and Body

The Tripartite Nature of Humanity: Spirit, Soul, and Body in Biblical Understanding The human being, as depicted in the Bible, is a multifaceted creation, often understood through the distinct yet interconnected components of spirit, soul, and body. While some theological perspectives lean towards a bipartite view (soul and body), which we do see in the Old Testament, a careful examination of the New Testament scripture reveals a compelling case for a tripartite understanding, where each is divided into or composed of three parts. Let’s explore the biblical distinction between spirit, soul, and body. The Body: Our Earthly Vessel The body is the physical form that interacts with the material world. From the very beginning, Genesis 2:7 states, " Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being ." This verse clearly establishes the body's origin from the earth, emphasizing its connec...

Lord, Stand By Me

"... present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness ." 1 This word for present means "I bring, present, come up to and stand by," it is parístēmi (from pará, "from close-beside" and hístēmi, "to stand") – properly, stand close beside, i.e. ready to present (exhibit). I pray Lord stand by me which expresses that I put my trust in Him, or I come up to and stand by Him. We use phrases like surrendering or bowing at the cross to explain such a moment, surely it is a coming to the end of ourselves and it is desirable that I find His will acceptable, but it is important to understand that it is about trust, not my will power, the key is that it is in Christ. The terminology the scriptures use is "present yourselves to God," or come up to and stand by and walk with Him. "... present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this...

Blessed Are The Forgiven

Blessed! the one whose lawless deeds are forgiven and the one whose sins are covered over, blessed is the man whom sin, the Lord will not consider . * Paul writes David foresaw and spoke " blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered . *  Blessed, is the one whom sin is not considered, this word considered  means "to credit, count, reckon, to set down as a matter of account; regard, think, consider." This blessing comes through faith and according to grace, " also David speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God considers righteousness apart from works ." *  The word for  lawless deeds speaks of the violation of the Law and the word for sin  speaks of missing the mark of God's righteousness. Blessed are those who (by faith in Christ according to grace) have been forgiven. In Him receiving the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of trespasses according to the riches of His grace . * This fundamental ...

The New Living Way

The New Living Way "... Now, at the present released from the Law, having died in that which held us captive, so that we serve in newness of Spirit and not the old written code " -- Romans 7:16 Paul states that we are now united to Christ in his death and also raised with him into newness of life. What held them captive was sin but also the Law, it was a guardian until the appointed time God would send a Messiah (see School Master ). Paul uses the metaphor of marriage to describe how we are released from the Law; like a wife whose husband dies, now she is released from the Law and can marry another, so also have we died with Christ and are released from the Law and bound to Christ in a new covenant. The purpose of this is that we live in a new living way of the Spirit and not fleshly through the old written code or Mosaic Law. " So then brothers, you also have died to the Law through the body of Christ to the extent you exist by creation of another, the one raising you f...

Spirit of Life

" Indeed, the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus liberates from the law of sin and death ." 1 This word for liberates "I free, set free, liberate" is from a root word meaning free, exempt, not bound by an obligation. As partakers of God's divine nature, being born of Spirit, we are no longer obligated to the sinful nature but to righteousness which is God's nature. When we believe we receive the Spirit of promise, a guarantee of our inheritance, a great testimony that we are His children, it is a Spirit of Life. " Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." 24 The Son came not to condemn the world but to save it. "One trespass   led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. " 6 " He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and wa...

New Testament Growth in Christ: From Foundation to Fullness

New Testament Growth in Christ: From Foundation to Fullness The New Testament presents a vibrant and multifaceted picture of spiritual growth, not as a static event but as a dynamic, lifelong journey for the believer. This journey, with emphasis on a strong foundation, progresses through a transformative process of maturity forged by endurance, ultimately aiming for the profound goal of experiencing the "fullness of God in Christ." The Foundation: A New Creation The inception of growth in Christ is marked by a radical spiritual new birth, a foundational shift that defines the Christian experience. It is not merely a moral reformation, but a divine act of creation. The apostle Paul declares this truth in 2 Corinthians 5:17 : " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come ." This new creation is initiated by faith in Jesus Christ, where believers are justified and reconciled to God through His sacrifice. ...

All Who Are Thirsty

“ Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters;  and he who has no money,  come, buy and eat!  Come, buy wine and milk  without money and without price.  Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread,  and your labor for that which does not satisfy?  Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good,  and delight yourselves in rich food. .." (Isaiah 55). " Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price ." Buy is defined as to acquire the ownership of by giving an accepted price or consideration therefore; to accept or believe as true .[ 1 ] When we buy something we consider the price that we must pay, we accept this and purchase the thing we have considered worthy of the sacrifice we make in payment. W e can not buy, with money or price, redemption from t his tragic flaw we are born into. However Jesus paid the price for us, so we buy or accept through consideration, the Greek word is  logizomai.[ 2] ...

True Widows: A Biblical Perspective

True Widows: A Biblical Perspective Throughout Scripture, God's compassion for widows is evident. He is portrayed as their defender, provider, and source of justice. The Bible repeatedly calls believers to care for widows, reflecting God's own heart for the vulnerable. However, in his letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul provides a specific definition of a "true" widow, emphasizing the church's responsibility in supporting those who are genuinely in need. God's Compassion for Widows The Old Testament is rich with passages that reveal God's concern for widows. In Exodus 22:22, God commands, "You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child." This verse underscores His protective nature, ensuring that widows are not mistreated or neglected. Similarly, Deuteronomy 10:18 declares, "He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing." Here, God is depicted as a just and loving prov...

Called According to His Purpose: A Biblical Examination

Called According to His Purpose: A Biblical Examination 📖 Introduction The phrase “called according to His purpose” appears in Romans 8:28 (ESV), a foundational verse that reads: “And we know that for those loved of God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” This statement gives comfort and more—it is a declaration about identity, destiny, and divine intent. To be “called according to His purpose” means participating in God’s sovereign, redemptive plan. God's plan is being manifested through the church through the "new covenant in his blood" as it was established by the death of Jesus. The calling is not arbitrary or based on human merit, but is rooted in God’s purpose, eternal will and love. 🔍 The Nature of the Calling In Scripture, God's calling is effectual—that is, it accomplishes what He intends. Paul writes: "...those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified,...

Putting On the New Self

Putting On the New Self Theme: Spiritual Growth & Identity in Christ Key Scripture: “And to put on the new man, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” — Ephesians 4:24 (ESV) 🕊️ Day’s Reflection The Christian journey is not about becoming a better version of our old selves. It is about walking in The New Living Way , putting on the new man created in the likeness of God. Scripture calls us to put on the new man , and this call is not symbolic or abstract. It is a command grounded in spiritual truth and lived out in daily walking as Christ walked. 📜 Scripture for Meditation 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” Ephesians 4:22–24 (ESV) “To put off your old man, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new man, created after the likeness of...
