I exist this living bread the one coming from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread, lives for all time. Now, the bread that I give exists that my flesh, above the life of the world.*
The bread from heaven is food that endures unto everlasting life. This bread exists his flesh, above the life of this world. The bread of this world gives life to the mortal body only but this bread from heaven gives eternal Life. John proclaims to us this bread from heaven as the word of Life, the Life that was revealed, this they saw, heard, and touched also bearing witness and proclaim the Eternal Life.* The Word of God, who was with God and was God, became flesh and dwelt among men. This flesh or human existence of the word of God is what the Father sent as Life to the world. This bread, the word of God, that came from heaven exists the Word of Life, Eternal Life.
That which existed from the beginning whom we have heard, whom we saw with our eyes, whom we looked upon and our hands touched, concerning the word of Life, also this life was revealed and we have seen and bear witness and proclaim to you, Eternal Life.*
What exists the bread from heaven? it is that which came down from heaven as flesh and gives eternal life to the world. What gives eternal life? it is the living bread that came down from heaven and John writes Jesus exists the Word of Life and Eternal Life. What gives Eternal Life? the words of Jesus. Therefore the bread from heaven is the Word of God, who existed in the beginning and became flesh. In him all things were created and in him we are a new creation. Now, it is not flesh but his words that give life, "It is the Spirit that gives life the flesh is useless. The words that I have spoken to you exist Spirit and Life"* The words of Jesus, words that Jesus brought from heaven, the words of the Father, exist life to the world.* In other words, Jesus gave his flesh, he became flesh, to bring the words of the Father to man and these words of God came from heaven and these words exist eternal life.
Lord, to whom shall we go? you have words of eternal Life and we believe and know that you exist the Holy One from God.*
When Jesus said they must eat his flesh and drink his blood many of those following him turned away and did not follow him anymore. Jesus said one must be born of Spirit to enter the kingdom of heaven and it is the Spirit that grants, the flesh is useless, but the Spirit gives life. And since the Words of Jesus exist eternal Life and also exist Spirit, one must hear his words and the Spirit must reveal or must grant one to come to Jesus. God is Spirit thus as Jesus said the apostles had been given to him by the Father.* So we understand more of what this verse means, "the sword of the Spirit which exists the word of God."* And as John writes this is a way to test the spirits, as God's Spirit teaches us to abide in the words of Jesus.*
Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits whether they exist from God because many false prophets come into the world.*
A false prophet, teacher, or minister by their very nature would say they come in the name of Jesus. And they would have you believe they are true just by their words. The word confessing means from "the same words." Just as faith without deeds and action is dead so is confessing words without believing in the heart. As John goes on to write, "All believing that Jesus exists the Christ, are born of God." One must believe and love one another, this is what matters. If one is born of God they love Jesus and if they love Jesus they will be obedient to his commands and remember God sent his word as flesh to give us the words of the Father and new words he gave, a new command to love one another. False prophets will confess with words only but they do not believe, and they love the things of this world and do not love those begotten by God, his brethren. Thus they do not follow the commands of Jesus, especially the new command.
In this we know the Spirit of God, all spirits that confess that Jesus has come in the flesh exists from God.*
We see that confessing is more than just saying words it includes believing in the heart first, as Paul writes in agreement.* So we see the word confessing as "the same word." This is more about experiencing eternal life through the words of Jesus, as Peter confessed. Of course, Jesus spoke of this as a growth process where the seed, the word of God is planted, grows deep roots, and will bring forth fruit. In this we see the concept of sowing and reaping to be that of growth. Also, those who abide or continue in the words of Jesus know the truth and truth sets them free. Also the young person is strong and has overcome because the word of God abides in him. The one born of God will overcome, as greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. Thus the hundred-fold, sixty-fold, thirty-fold of reaping comes from sowing into the Spirit, eating this bread from heaven, the words of Jesus that exist Spirit and Life.
Jesus, therefore, said to the Jews believing in him, if you abide in my words, you exist truly my disciples and you know the truth and the truth sets you free.*
How does one know he is a true disciple of Jesus, he abides in the words of Jesus, which also exists as the truth. Such a one abides, he doesn't go forward on his own and he listens to truth and to those who are also of the truth. This is walking in truth in love in that it is two-sided, a double edge sword of truth and Spirit that cuts both ways. If one of his brethren lords over another he has now placed himself in the position of Christ, of Lord, and such a person will dictate what the truth is but will not accept the truth, as he doesn't abide in the truth, Jesus. A person who uses his position to lord over others, does so to control and manipulate them and will establish his authority as absolute obedience as if to God. The true disciple doesn't lord over others, the greatest being a servant of all, for the purpose of building up his brethren to become like Christ in maturity.
In this we know the Spirit of God, all spirits that confess that Jesus has come in the flesh exist from God.*
The one who abides in Jesus has as confession in the likeness of Peters' that the words of Jesus exist eternal life. Those who abide, feed on this bread from heaven reap Life, also sowing to the Spirit. So do we see what it means to confess Jesus came in the flesh? Jesus said he gives his flesh for the life above the life of the world. We must labor for food from heaven that endures unto life, not like earthly bread. We must seek, ask, and knock persistently for this bread. He exists this living bread the one who came from heaven, if anyone eats of this bread, he lives for all time. This bread is his flesh, it is real food. The incarnation states that Jesus existed as the divine word of God and also as a man in human form and nature, thus the Word of God, the word of life, became flesh.
... concerning the word of Life, also this life was revealed and we have seen and bear witness and proclaim to you, Eternal Life.*
This is what we confess and believe because in such a form of flesh and divinity we have experienced life in his words. The word from the Father became flesh, this is the bread from heaven. When we eat this bread, when we hear the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, and believe we are born of God, of Spirit. We exist a new creation of his divine nature, his seed, word, planted in us. We have eaten and continue to feed on the words of Jesus in which is Life. We confess Jesus, the Word of God came in the flesh and that we exist of the same Word, the word of Life.
