Of The Same Word

I exist this living bread the one coming from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread, lives for all time. Now, the bread that I give exists that my flesh, above the life of the world . * The bread from heaven is food that endures unto everlasting life. This bread exists his flesh, above the life of this world. The bread of this world gives life to the mortal body only but this bread from heaven gives eternal Life. John proclaims to us this bread from heaven as the word of Life, the Life that was revealed, this they saw, heard, and touched also bearing witness and proclaim the Eternal Life. * The Word of God, who was with God and was God, became flesh and dwelt among men. This flesh or human existence of the word of God is what the Father sent as Life to the world. This bread, the word of God, that came from heaven exists the Word of Life, Eternal Life. That which existed from the beginning whom we have heard, whom we saw with our eyes, whom we looked upon and our hands touched, c...

The Gift Of Jesus

In him, we were chosen to exist holy and blameless before him, in love. He predestined us for adoption as his own through Jesus Christ. .. * You have most likely heard of the wise men who brought gifts to baby Jesus. And those who know Jesus know of the manner of love that God has bestowed on us who he calls children. And we say Jesus was a gift to man, from the Father, but did you know that there is a gift Jesus gives to the Father? Do you know what the gift of Jesus is? so that we who have this hope in Him, exist the praise of his glory . * The gifts we have received from Christ are from the riches of his glory and grace, the spiritual gifts of adoption, redemption, and forgiveness. You are a legacy, having received many gifts through a will, a new covenant Christ died to give us. And did you know you are a gift to the praise of his glory? you are his own, blessed from the riches of heaven. Christ came to bless us from the heavens but also we are a gift from  earth to the ...

Joy In Fellowship

And this we write so that our joy exists complete . * The word complete means to fill, make full, fill up. John is writing these things so that we may be filled up with joy. How is this possible? well, we see what John is proclaiming to us is what they saw, heard, and touched; the Word of Life, the Eternal Life. " Proclaiming also to you so that you also have fellowship with the Father and with his son Jesus Christ, these things we are writing that your joy may be full ." * Fellowship with the Son brings fellowship with the Father, a cleansing of sin and the conscious, and since the Son is the word of life, eternal life, fellowship brings life, peace, and joy. Our joy is complete in fellowship with Jesus. do not become yoked with unbelievers, for what is in common between righteousness and lawlessness? or what fellowship has light with darkness ? * Here we see the opposite of fellowship is compared to being unequally yoked which is being joined with something differ...

Fellowship In Truth

We exist from the one God, the one knowing God listens to us, whoever exists not from God doesn't listen to us. In this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error . * We exist of God John writes, so we exist different from the world. We are born of God thus exist of truth. The world doesn't know us nor will it listen to us, nor will it love us. We are not of the world we are of truth and those who abide in truth will listen to one another. This is what John is writing, and this is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. We test the spirits in that the Spirit of God testifies we are his own, we are loved, and teaches us to love one another and to abide in truth, who is Jesus. This is how we have fellowship, truth in love, thus this defines what fellowship is. It is as Jesus walked, walking in the Light, walking in the Spirit, walking in love, and walking in the truth. The truth is that God exists love thus those who walk in truth love his brethr...

Perfect Love

And all the ones having this, hope in him, purifying themselves just as he exists pure. * What hope do we have in Christ? If we did not have any hope we would be pitied among men and any attempt to be pure would be vanity. We know that one day we will be like him. What is he like? in context he is pure. " At the present time we exist children of God and it is not yet manifested what we will exist, knowing that when manifested existing like him, because we see him just as he exists ." * Yes, we are born of God but do not exist fully like him, he has a glorified body, one in which there is no sickness, no death, and no sin, he exists pure, whole. Surely we have this hope, one day we will be like him. John is writing all those having, possessing this in him, these who have this hope in him. So with this insight what do those who hope in him have? Well, "we exist children of God" so we have the testimony of Spirit, not a spirit of fear, but of love. See what great...

A Little Truth About Tithing

I fast twice a week and tithe all that I get ... * The truth about tithing is a deserving topic to write about so I will try to cover some of it here. We know that the blood of Jesus established a new testament or covenant, so to abandon it for the old is to abandon Christ, to sever and fall from grace, Paul writes. Since we have a new covenant and tithing is such an important concept, called by some as the highest form of worship to God, let us look at the teaching of tithing in the new covenant. Well, there isn't any. We see Jesus use the word in his woes to the Pharisees. Here Jesus tells the story of a Pharisee who goes to the temple to pray bragging about how good he is and how much he tithes, but it was the man who was humble, who recognized that salvation is not by anything he can do, that was just before God. In this place mortal men receive tithe now in the other case testimony that he lives . * Some use this story of Abraham to establish tithing in the new and at t...

You Are A Legacy

the one blessing us in all spiritual blessings in the heavenlies ... * In Christ we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavenlies, we have received a legacy. A legacy is defined as inheritance left to someone in a will; gifts receiving by a will, transmitted to someone by another in the past; even the gift of membership in an organization. * A will established by men leaves the gifts of earthly riches and property. A will requires a death to establish it. Christ came to establish a new will, also called a new testament and a new covenant, in his blood. This new will leaves an inheritance also, but the riches are from above and are beyond comparison to the riches of this earth. The legacy we have received in Christ is incomprehensible so Paul prays that we be enlightened unto them. Those in Christ have received a legacy, and more, they are a legacy, the praise of his glory. predestined for adoption as his own, through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleas...
