My Help Comes From The Lord

I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.*

"The Lord is your keeperThe Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night, He will not allow your foot to be moved."* This word for keeper means He will keep, watch, and preserve the one who trusts in Him. He will keep you in all your ways, he shall bear you up, carry you upon his shoulders, lest you dash your foot against a stone.* He is the cleft, the rock of ages, shelter during a storm.

Under the shadow of the Almighty one will surely say, he is my refuge and fortress.* Though the adversary attacks you during the day and pestilence stalks you during the night, though destruction waits for you at noon, and a thousand will fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand it shall not come to you, the one who trusts in the Lord. He shall be a refuge for you. This doesn't mean the plague will not come to your tent, no, it doesn't mean the adversary will not stalk you, no, it means those who find refuge in him, though many may fall around you, He will deliver you and keep you under His protection. His truth shall be your shield and buckler, you will not be afraid.*

"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.”*
