Behold, The Glory of God

Righteous Father, even so the world perceives not, knowing you not, yea, I know you and these know that you sent me, even so knowing together your name and knowing the Love which you love me, that  exists in them and also I in them.*

The hour had come for Jesus to take up his cross, so he prays to the Father for the disciples and for those who would believe and come to know the Father through Him. Jesus glorified the Father making known the name of God. He also made the Word of God known, and He made the Love of God known. Jesus said this glorified the Father but he longed for the glory that existed with the Father in the beginning. And Jesus prays that those who believe in Him know of this glory. This the glory of God made known to man, through the Son.

Out of darkness Light shines, whom flooded our hearts with Light, the glorious knowledge of the one God, in face of Christ.*

The glory of the old was veiled, but the unveiled glory of God is shown through the face of Jesus. The old was a shadow of the glory to come, in Christ we walk not in a shadow but in the Light, as in the glorious Liberty of the children of God. In this glory is our transformation, "And we all with unveiled faces beholding an image, the one glory of the Lord, transforming into the same image from glory to glory."* The greatest blessing from the riches of His glory being that we have become the children of God, in such we have boldness to approach God. Knowing God speaks of a personal relationship, having testimony of the Spirit whereby we cry Abba Father! So do you see the glory?

And this exists the one everlasting Life, that knowing you, the only true God and Jesus whom you sent.*

Everlasting Life is knowing the Father and Son, thus we see the glory in fellowship of knowing the Father which is accomplished through Jesus, "For this exist the will of my Father, that all the ones beholding the Son and believing in Him possess everlasting Life..."* When we look upon Jesus, the glory of the Father, when we behold him and believe in Him, we receive eternal Life. Do you see the glory? The glory is in the Son and he has given us power to become children of God, thus we receive the glory in fellowship. The Father so loved us that He sent His Son so that we exist in Him and He in us, we have fellowship with each other. There is glory in a son that is obedient, but obedience or fruit only comes through abiding. The glory is in that we abide, have fellowship with the Father, this is knowing God, in a personal relationship, in the Son.

Not only for those interceding, but also for those believing in me through their words. That they exist whole, existing as one, just as you Father are in me and I in you, that they also exist in us, so that the world believes that you sent me. And the glory given me, give them, that existing one, just as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may be perfected one, so that the world may know you sent me and you love them even so loving me.

Jesus came to reveal the glory of God to us, and this task was accomplished. And we who have become children are being transformed into this glory, and one day we will be full in glory. By our love for one another we are known and He is known in that we "exist whole, existing as one." So we see how the glory of God is manifested, "And the glory which given me, give them, that existing one, just as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may be perfected one." So how does the Church glorify God? in fellowship, "they also exist in us," and in His workmanship, "transforming into the same image from glory to glory." In the fellowship is accomplished the perfecting, in abiding in Him and in His love. The glory of God is manifested when we exist as one, in fellowship with the Father and Son. Such existing shines outward in that we have fellowship with one another and love as He loves. Thus the Glory of God shines through us to the world, as we exist as one in the glory of the Father and the Son.
