Raised Into Life

But if the Spirit of Him raising Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one raising Christ Jesus from the dead will also make alive your mortal bodies through His Spirit who lives in you . * The writing of Paul in Romans 8 is amazing scripture and when we examine it close to its original Greek we have better understanding to its meaning. Paul is talking about how we either exist in the flesh or in the Spirit. If we exist in Christ, we are born of God, and exist in the Spirit, thus the same Spirit that raised Jesus lives in us, raising us up into newness of Life. It is a great promise for the child of God. Like being righteous we exist in the Spirit, not in the flesh, thus our true nature as the child of God. Those who come to the Son, who consider the Son, those drawn by the Spirit and who believe will be raised into Life. * The mind of the flesh is death, the mind of the Spirit is Life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God, it does not submit to the...

Practicing Truth

If saying we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, lies, and do not practice the truth . * This is a conditional statement, which also defines fellowship as walking in the Light and as practicing truth. How do I practice truth? I learn to walk in fellowship. Jesus walked in truth and if we claim to know Him we must walk as He walked. To walk in truth is to walk in the Light and in this also we see the concept of fellowship, abiding, and practicing truth. Surely, the child of God knows he needs to practice truth as he exists an imperishable seed of truth in a perishable body, where evil lies near. We equate abiding in Jesus to abiding in truth, to practicing truth and to walking in Light and to having fellowship. according to the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through our faith in him . * To abide in the words of Christ is to have fellowship with the Son and the Father, this is that which was e...

Everlasting Love

So that being fully able to lay hold of, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the Love of Christ surpassing knowledge, in order that you be filled to all the fullness of God . * Love is everlasting. Think of this, we can wrap our mind around a three dimensional object, but four? God's love has no bounds, His grace super abounded when sin abounded, thus love surpassed His judgement, seen in that He showed mercy, " but God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us ," *  In this we see the concept of a loving Father perfecting His children in Love and truly, obedience is a fruit of Love not of the fear of punishment. God's love is everlasting. to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God . * In Christ we experience the love of God and it is how we grow up or are perfected in Him, "yea, truth in love, growing up the w...

Stay and Be

Have I existed so long of time with you Philip and still you do not know me ? * Can one be so long with Him but still not know Him? Can we go to church, tithe, give, do many mighty works in His name and still not know Him? Why do we not believe? What is the key to knowing Him? " Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me ?" The answer is that we do not abide in Him, if we have fellowship in His words we have fellowship with the Son, and the Father. His children have the Spirit to guide them to His presence. Every one who abides in Him knows Him, and this is the promise; Life. Those who abide in Him will bear much fruit. Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth ! * Be still and know Him. How does one know God? " Jesus said, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, no one can come to the Father except through me, if you know me, you know my Father also, and from now on you kno...

The Way To Life

Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you, if what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise he made to us, eternal Life . * This is an amazing verse, and it answers the question; how do I have Life? John writes that Life is abiding in what they heard from the beginning. So we need to understand what it means to abide in that heard from the beginning. What they heard is the Word of Life, "... concerning the Word of Life, this Life was revealed and beholding and witnessing and proclaiming to you, the one Eternal Life ." *  Jesus is the Son, and the Vine, and the Word, which gives Life, so to bear fruit of Life we must be connected to the Word of Life and remain or abide in the Word of Life and the one abiding in the Son abides in the Father also. So the question becomes how do we abide? John gives us the answer, "let what you heard from the beginning abide in you, if what you heard...

Hoping in Hope

Hoping in hope, Abraham believed that he would become the father of many nations according to that spoken, 'in this way your seed exists that. ' * The prophets foresaw into the mystery of the gospel, what has been revealed to us in Christ. And that which was spiritual was also first played out in the natural, Abraham " even so not being weak in faith, considering the one his own body as dead (he being about 100 years old) and the barrenness of Sarah's womb ," he hoped against what was seen in the natural and by faith he saw into the spiritual, and believed what God said, that through his Seed all nations and people would be blessed. He foresaw into the gospel, as Paul writes the gospel was preached to him, thus he saw by faith God giving His only Son, and by faith Abraham was counted righteous. he did not sever through unbelief as far as the promise of God but acquired strength in faith, giving glory to God ... * This word for sever means "to separat...

One Shepherd

I lay down my life for my sheep, even so having other sheep whom exist not of this fold, these also I must lead, also listening to my voice, both becoming one flock, only one shepherd . * The idea of the Good Shepherd is well known but do we have understanding of the mystery Paul writes about? Of the manifold wisdom being displayed in the Church and of that which was eternally purposed in Christ? In this story Jesus is bringing out of the fold the sheep that listen to His voice, and there are other sheep not of the fold, the Good Shepherd leads them both, "both becoming one flock, with only one shepherd." The one who enters by the door exists the Shepherd of the sheep, the door keeper this one opens the door and the sheep listen to His voice, and calling the ones His by name and leads them out . * The Messiah is the door, he who enters by the door is the Good Shepherd all others "spring up" another way, these exist thieves and robbers. Paul writes the J...

Abiding in Life

If that hearing from the beginning abides in you, even so you abide in the Son and in the Father, and this is the promise that He made to us, the one, Eternal Life . * What did they hear from the beginning? it can be said to be the teachings of Christ but more so as John writes He is the Word of Life, in the person of Jesus, whom they heard, saw, and touched, Eternal Life. *  John writes he is the Word that was with God and was God, that became flesh. *  And Jesus said, " the one feeding on my flesh and drinking my blood has eternal Lif e." *  If Jesus is the Word and the Word is Life then Jesus is Eternal Life, " this life was revealed and we beheld and witnessed and proclaim to you the one, eternal Life. " * This is Peter's confession, that the words of Jesus are Eternal Life, and we see how we have Life through feeding on Him, abiding in the Vine, his words, the Word of Life. If the Word abides in you then you will have fellowship with the Son and with th...

Glorious Liberty

For the creation was subjected to futility not of its own choosing, but because Him who subjected it, in hope, that the creation itself is liberated from its bondage to decay into the glorious liberty of the  one the children of God. * As I learn more about God, I am set free from the lies I have believed, one such is that I had associated fear of punishment and condemnation as godly discipline. The glory of God in the old covenant has been surpassed by the glory of God in the face of His Son. Paul asks in our " struggle against sin also have you forgotten the helper that speaks to you as sons ?" *  We are sons, and receive not a spirit of fear, but power, love, and a renewed mind. So the truth in the light of glorification is that we are not being punished but we are being transformed, into "the glorious liberty of the children of God." We sons should not regard lightly the training up of the Lord, nor be faint in heart when tried by Him, for the Lord disci...

Behold, The Glory of God

Righteous Father, even so the world perceives not, knowing you not, yea, I know you and these know that you sent me, even so knowing together your name and knowing the Love which you love me, that  exists in them and also I in them . * The hour had come for Jesus to take up his cross, so he prays to the Father for the disciples and for those who would believe and come to know the Father through Him. Jesus glorified the Father making known the name of God. He also made the Word of God known, and He made the Love of God known. Jesus said this glorified the Father but he longed for the glory that existed with the Father in the beginning. And Jesus prays that those who believe in Him know of this glory. This the glory of God made known to man, through the Son. Out of darkness Light shines, whom flooded our hearts with Light, the glorious knowledge of the one God, in face of Christ . * The glory of the old was veiled, but the unveiled glory of God is shown through the fac...

Principle of Evil

So I discover then the principle; I the one willing to do good, evil lies near me . * Is our battle over the flesh or over evil? it is both, as we find that evil has taken opportunity through the weakness of the flesh. Therefore there exists the concept of "working out our salvation," of the inward new creation becoming outward reality, and there is something that opposes this, evil, that is working out the same. So I write not to dictate that you believe as I do but that the word of God be alive and active in working out His divine nature, within the children of God. Let us begin with the one principle; "I will to do good, evil lies near me." * also seen, another principle,  in sight of my members ,  opposing  the principle of my mind leading me  captive  to the principle of sin existing in sight of my members. ^ "Also seen," states that Paul builds on the first principle existing, which is "I will to do good, evil lies near me," and he...
