Worthy Is The Lamb

"The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son. His Son was in the beginning with God, in him all things were created (John 1:1-14) He is the beginning, firstborn among many brothers (Romans 8:8:28-30, Col. 1:18). He is the first born among the dead who loved us so that he freed us from our sins by his blood (Rev. 1:5). He is Faithful and True "and the name by which he is called is The Word of God" (Rev. 19:13).  He came to proclaim good news to the poor, liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, and to set at liberty those who are oppressed (Luke 4:18).

Jesus came to do the will of the Father who had prepared a body for him, a sacrificial lamb he was to become, as written in the scroll of the book" (Hebrews 10:5-7). The sacrifices and sin offering were in accordance with the law, God's will was to do away with the  first to establish the second and through the offering of the body be sanctified once and for all (Hebrews 10:8-10).  This body of Jesus became a single sacrifice for sins once and for all (Hebrew 10:11-14). This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,” then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more” (Hebrews 10:15-18).

He dedicated a way, by the recent slain and living, through the curtain, by His flesh (Hebrews 10:19-20). With our hearts having been sprinkled from a wicked conscience (by His blood, Hebrews 9:13-14) and our bodies bathed in pure water (not by acts of righteousness but by his mercy through the washing and renewal of his Spirit, Titus 3:5) approach with a true heart, in full assurance of faith (Hebrews 10:22-23). We have boldness to approach God through faith and the blood of the Lamb. Let us hold fast to our faith, considering one another to incite into love and good works. We were ransomed, from the vain behavior and traditions handed down, by the precious blood of Christ like that of a lamb, flawless and unspotted (1 Peter 1:18-19).

He was made manifest in the last times for the sake of those who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that our faith and hope are in God (1 Peter 1:20-12). We purify our souls in the obedience of the truth, through the spirit, into brotherly love, loving one another earnestly from a pure heart, having been born again, not out of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living Word of God (1 Peter 1:22). “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever. And this word is the good news that was preached to you

He is the Alpha and the Omega, the living one, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty (Rev. 1:8;17-18) He was in the beginning, was the word and the word was with God and God was the word. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him... in him was life and the light of men.... He was in the world, made by him, but the world knew him not... He became flesh and dwelt among us... John bare witness of him... the law was given through Moses but through him came grace and truth... Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:12)
