Unshakable

"Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens. This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain" (Hebrews 12:26).

God is shaking the earth and the heavens and that which remains is that which has not been made. God created all things through His word who was with God and was God, "All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made" (John 1:1-3,14). The Holy Spirit a "power from on high" draws us to God, abides in us when we believe, and opens our eyes to help us understand scriptures, (Luke 24:45-49), through the Spirit the Father and the Son abides in us (John 14:15-23).

As humans it is difficult for us to reason that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one, though a father son relationship is something we understand. It is also hard for us to quantify time as infinite or eternal. In mathematical logic, there are two quantifiers, "some" and "all".[1] I am some years old, the earth is some years old, the universe is some years old etc... to say that I am all or infinite is not reasonable, but logical and mathematically possible. God is all, this is one of his names; I am that I am. He is the creator, not of created things, he can not be shaken.

God created time and the heavens (1 Corinthians 2:7). "He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will," (Ephesians 1:5). He is making known to us the mystery of his plan, set forth through Christ Jesus, "a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth" (Ephesians 1:10). Upon adoption His Spirit lives in us and if God lives in us, we are no longer as of created things, we are as sons of God; unshakable.

"Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:28).
