Yes, there is a word that speaks to us, that calls upon us as sons. In regards to this calling, the discipline of God brings about maturity. Our call to holiness is accomplished through growth which matures us from children to sons. This is that purposed in Christ, so those called are being conformed to His image. The Father loves the children, he is delighted, well pleased that they grow up to bear fruit of righteousness, becoming like him, like his divine nature.
