Bless This Food

Because every creature of God is good and nothing to be rejected with thanksgiving being received , for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer . 1 To most saying grace or giving thanks for meals is a tradition we do not understand. We can become like ungrateful children who take their parents gifts for granted , for even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks ... 2   Adoration and thanksgiving, gives glory to God . When we are thankful He is pleased.  Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner? 4   Jesus was in the midst of Samaria and Galilee, these ten lepers healed included both Jews and at least one Samaritan. 5 Our prayer should be as , t hank you, y ou are my God, worthy of the sacrifice of my lips, worthy of praise . And bless this food , as t here is something to this sanctification of food.  Prayer is a time of introspection....

Righteous and Just Judge

There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 1 A judge is someone who forms an opinion about something or someone through careful weighing of evidence and testing of premises. 2 This weighing of evidence and testing of premises along with fearing God and regarding man is how we should discern. Jesus told them this parable of the unjust judge, then asks a question, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth ?  The Pharisees had asked Jesus, when would the kingdom of God come? He answered them and said, the kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you . 3   This judge did not weight nor test for God's truth nor did he regard man. Men always ought to pray and not lose heart. There was in a certain city a judge ... This widow ...

Justification by Grace

Whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified . 1   We know that a person is not justified by works of the law but in Jesus Christ. 2 Being justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Not by the law , the law was our guardian until Christ came, in orde r that we might be justified by faith. 3 This justification is through God's Grace given to us by Faith in Jesus. 4 We know that the author of Faith is Jesus. 6 Hopefully you get the picture here, not much I can do, I can only labor into belief, and even believing is the work of God. 7 This laboring into belief is important and only comes through faith, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, truth is revealed to us in His words. He calls, justifies, and crowns us with life.  Justification by grace comes in Christ. Jesus was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our...

Family of God

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that He might give you, according to the riches of his glory, power to be strengthened by the Spirit of Him through the inner man . 1 And God said let Us create human beings in Our image... So God created human beings in His own image. 2 Man was created in the image of God. Then God looked down and said man is alone, he needs a helper, so He created woman in the image of God. A helper, a woman was created in the image of God.  And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply...”  In the beginning God created a family. In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of humans... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, we beheld his glory...

Gospel of Grace and Truth

I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace. 1 It is through Jesus we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand. I stand in Grace not in my own righteousness, I did nothing, I stand hidden in Christ, it is what he did. I do love him because he first loved me. God chose me as his son, adopted me into his family, this is amazing grace. It is because of this grace I count my life nothing, as long as I testify to this gospel of grace. Jesus was full of Grace and Truth, he was the Word which became flesh and dwelt among us, the glory of the only begotten son of God . He came to give us this fullness of Grace and Truth , And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace . 2   God relates his grace like a father, son relationship, such is of trust and grace. The son's love for the father is perfected by the fathers ...
