God is Love

“ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him " (John 3:16-17). God did not come to condemn, because the world is condemned already. We either believe in Jesus where there is no condemnation or we are condemned already in our unbelief, this is the judgement, that God is light, whoever does what is true comes to the light. By the Love/Grace of God we live so that we might be saved (John 3). We do not love God out of fear or misguided obedience, "w e love because he first loved us " (1 John 4:19). When we have a relationship with God, we begin to see the love that he lavishes on us, we come to experience and grow in understanding and revelation of him and his love (Ephesians 1:7-9; 17-19). " This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son ...

Perfect love

" God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.    There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us " (1 John 4:16-19). If Jesus is God, which is written in John 1, then Jesus also is love as God is love. If Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), then also love is the way, truth, and life. Not a cheap love and grace;  c heap  grace is a " grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without Jesus Christ, living and incarnate."[1]  It is  Love; which bears, believes, hopes, and endures all things (1 Cor. 13).   Christ is the mediator of a new covenant (Hebrews 9:15). In this new covenant we are to boldly come before t...

1040 window, 4010 vision

Jesus said to, " Go into all the world and  proclaim the gospel to  the whole creation " and " Go therefore and  make disciples of  all nations " (Mark 16:15-19: Matt 28:19).  The  10/40 Window  is a term coined by a  Christian missionary , it represents an area extending from west Africa to east Asia, from 10  degrees south to 40  degrees north of the equator. Nearly 4 billion people live here, it is estimated that 1.6 billion of these people have never had the chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ - not even once! The seat of every major non-Christian religion; Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Animism, Atheism, and Sikhism - is headquartered in the 10/40 Window.[ 1 ] 1040 Window The 10/40 Window is home to the majority of the world's poor. Of the poorest of the poor, more than eight out of ten live in the 10/40 Window. On average, they exist on less than a few hundred dollars per person per year. It ...

The way of the wind

" As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything " (Ecclesiastes 11:5). Add caption When we believe we are born again of the spirit (John 3:5-7; Ephesians 1:13-15;  2  Timothy 1:14;  1  Corinthians 3:16 ). We learn to operate in the spiritual realm by faith ( Romans 8:9 ). Faith is a spiritual activity, it is given to us and perfected in us by Jesus (Hebrews 12:2).   "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus said to him, How can these things be? Jesus answered him, Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you do not understand these things?"... "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:8-16). "For the f...
