By Faith We Run

and though they all testified through their faith, they did not receive that promised, for God had provided something better with us in mind, so that they did not finish apart from us. Hebrews 11:39-40 For this reason, ourselves having a great throng of people, witnesses surrounding us. Also lay down all impediments and sin that so easily, constantly distracting, running through endurance the race placed before us. Hebrews 12:1 They did not finish the race, God had provided something better with us in mind, so that they did not finish apart from us... Those in the Old covenant did not receive the promise, so that they did not finish apart from us. Does this not imply the promise was not about earthly things? Did not Israel receive land? These of the hall of faith, did not finish apart from us, thus they are a multitude of witnesses to us running this race. By faith they testified of a righteousness that would come apart from works; by faith according to grace. This is the law of fai...

The Body, For The Lord

Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food. Now, God will destroy also the one and the other. The body is not for immorality but the Lord's. Also the Lord, the body. Now, God raising the Lord also is raising us through His power . * What does it mean the body is for the Lord? And what does it mean when Paul writes to us do you not know the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, that you are not your own, you were bought with a price? *  The concept of redemption in the Old Testament was about redeeming a relative, purchasing his land that he lost because of debt. In Christ redemption is a spiritual blessing we receive from the riches of God's grace. * Paul writes by grace through redemption we are justified and it is through His blood. We are purchased from the debt of sin, we are not bought like one would buy a slave. It is a new covenant in His blood thus we are bound to Christ in this covenant. This speaks of our nature changing. Like the Old temple that was built by...

Treasure In Jars of Clay

But we have this treasure in jars of clay so that the surpassing power belongs to God and not from us . * For by grace are we saved through faith, not of works lest we boast. This is the service of grace, so that the power that throws us beyond the weakness of the flesh, comes from God so that we do not boast. His grace is sufficient for it is His power perfecting us in this weakness, in this of jar of clay in which sin dwells and evil is near. For out of darkness the light has shined forth on our hearts and life and light is within us, treasure in jars of clay. In Him was life and that life existed the Light of men and the light shines in darkness, the darkness not laying hold of it . * There was a man who came to bear testimony about the light so that they might believe in the light,  he testified that the true light which enlightens all men was coming into the world. The Light came in darkness, to us to give us light and life and the right to become children of God, to th...

The Glorious Face of Jesus

For it is God who said 'Out of darkness light will shine,' which has flooded that our hearts with Light the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ. * And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light." *  This Light was in the beginning. "And this message we have heard and proclaim to you; God is Light..." *  Also John writes that which existed from the beginning, they heard, saw, looked upon and their hands touched, concerning the Word of Life. *  John proclaims this Life, Eternal Life to us and since God is Light and in Jesus the full deity of God dwelt as a man and fellowship with Jesus is fellowship with the Father thus we have fellowship with Light. In the face of Jesus is an unveiled glory that surpasses the veiled glory of that in the face of Moses. In the face of Jesus the glorious Light of God has flooded our hearts. In the face of Jesus the glorious knowledge of God is revealed to man. Is He is worthy? He is. through the ...
