Instructions In Love

Be not teaching and heeding to myths and unaccomplished genealogies which bring questions rather than edifying faith in God, the consummation (telos; the principal end, aim, purpose, goal) of the  command  ( paraggelia;  a charge, a precept, rule of living) is Love out of a clean heart and good conscience, a faith not hypocritical. From which some are swerving, turned aside into vain sayings, willing to be teachers of the law but not understanding (noeó; think, consider, conceive, apprehend; realize) either of what they are saying or concerning what they are speaking (diabebaioomai; emphatically assert). 1 We must teach things of God's principal end, aim, goal . What is the aim? Stewardship from God that is by faith, love out of a clean heart and good conscience, a faith not hypocritical.  A relationship with the Father through Jesus. Instruction not of God is empty instruction, myths and endless genealogies, that have no power. God's plan or goa...

Need of Endurance

There's no space that His love can't reach There's no place where we can't' find peace There's no end to amazing grace Take me in with Your arms spread wide Take me in like an orphan child Never let go, Never leave my side I am,  Holding on to You... In the middle of the storm I am holding on,  I am  Love like this, Oh my God to find I am overwhelmed, With a joy divine Love like this sets our hearts on fire This is my resurrection song This is my hallelujah come This is why it's to You I run. 1 He is holding on to you, through the middle of the storm, the disease, sickness, pain, tears, heartache, desires, and addictions... I Am is holding on to you. Let us exult, dance in our tribulations knowing that in our suffering we partake of His. Knowing also that suffering produces patience and patience produces endurance and endurance produces strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. ...

Jesus, the Cornerstone

‘ The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was God’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. ’[ 1 ] In early times, many large cathedrals and buildings were made of masonry and stone. The first stone laid (in the corner) was called the cornerstone. It had to be perfectly square as well as perfectly laid out, because the outside walls were laid subsequently in the direction that the corner stone was laid. Since cathedrals and other large buildings may have had exterior walls extend hundreds of feet beyond the corner, you can imagine the importance of having this stone square and laid correctly. [ 2 ]  The cornerstone or foundation stone concept is important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the true of the entire structure.  Jesus was given all authority on earth, he became head of the new covenant church, its purpose being to build up the body into its authority, Jesus, with him...

Sayings of Jesus

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock . 1 When we do not have a strong foundation built on strong principles we are so easily tossed about, living our lives based on emotions, human and worldly reason. This is what Jesus spoke of when He said a stupid man builds his house upon the sand, but a wise man builds on a rock,  and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock . To be wise is to seek understanding and do, we are what we do. How do I build such a house and what are these sayings of Jesus that make my house strong, what do I do if I am wise? It's here, even in the same passage of Matthew. Jesus said, W hatever you want men to do to you, do also to them ...  j udge not, that you be not judged ... Seek, ask, knock... and it will be given to you ... walk the narrow way ... build on the roc...

Functional Grace

As also in all the letters, speaking in them concerning these things, things hard to understand, which the unlearned and unstable are twisting, as with other scripture, toward their own destruction ( 2 Peter 3:16 ) Equilibrium is defined as a state of rest or balance due to the equal action of opposing forces; powers, or influences.[ 1 ] A pendulum is a good example of equilibrium, when a pendulum is displaced sideways from its resting position it is subject to a restoring force that will accelerate it back toward the balanced position. The pendulum was used as a standard of length and for measuring time. Historically the church has struggled with the functional versus relational, like the force applied on opposite ends of the pendulum. We hear of the relational driven purpose in our quest to seek and do God's will, but we also read of the functional; think on these things, do these things; faith without works is dead. Functional is used to contribute to the developme...
