Jesus's first miracle, water into wine, “this beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him” (John 2:11). John gives us a good perspective of Jesus’s first miracle. No other reason was this miracle performed than to reveal His glory. "On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there” (John 2:1). On the third day of his ministry this happens, what is happening on day one and two? John's account differs in that the temptation is not mentioned, but we learn more if we look ahead a few days before the wedding.
