Marked As His Own

You also in him hearing the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation in him also believing were marked of the promised Holy Spirit, who exists the guarantor of our inheritance to the extent redemption of his possession, to the praise of his glory (Ephesians 1: 13-14)

Do you have a mark that distinguishes you as a child of God? God marked or sealed you with the Holy Spirit when you believed. This marking is to the extent of his possession, in other words, that you are His own. We are marked until that day when there will be a redemption of his possession. As we await our salvation the redemption of our bodies. Earlier in Ephesians 1:5 we read he predestined us for adoption as his own. You were marked as his own, a child of God.

you received a Spirit of adoption in whom cries out 'Abba the Father' the Spirit himself testifing of our spirit because we exist children of God (Romans 8:15-16)

That the Spirit pours out the love of the Father in our hearts and we exist his own testifies of the intimate relationship we have, of knowing him thus crying out Abba Father. This is the distinctive difference between a head knowledge, knowing as the demons do. If the Spirit of Christ dwells in you then you exist as his own, a child of God. And it matters not to me whether that choice was according to grace or through foreknowledge of my belief, for I was predestined for adoption as his own, chosen before He created the world.

he predestined us for adoption as his own sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, (Ephesians 1:5)
Christ came "to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons." (Galatians 4:5). This is an amazing truth, Israel of the flesh was held under a guardian until the appointed time. Jesus came with the authority so they and all people of all nations could become children of God, "not born from human stock, or fleshly will, or a man's decision but from God" (John 1:11-13). Jesus established in his blood a new covenant, whereby we receive the promised Holy Spirit. It is a truthful statement no one will enter the kingdom of God unless they are born a new of the Spirit.

So when we heard the gospel, the Spirit drew us to Christ and a new birth of the Spirit occurred as we believed. It matters not in which order, the word of God exists the sword of the Spirit and the words of Jesus exist Spirit and Truth. What matters is that believing and receiving, the work of God, we have graciously received and been adopted of the Spirit as his own, into the kingdom of God.

and if children then heirs, heirs of God together with Christ, provided with suffer with him so to also to be glorified with him (Romans 8:17)

Those He Calls He Equips

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen . Hebrews 13:20-21 When God calls us he equips us, the God of Peace, the one who brought us from the dead by the blood of the Eternal Covenant, will equip you so to do his will. So in this concept of being equipped, we see the calling being irrevocable. "For it is God who works in you to Will and to act on behalf of his good pleasure." Philippians 2:13 God called you, he's working in you equipping you to work on behalf of his good pleasure. "So that the man of God may be complete fully equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:17 . In Hebrews 12 we read God disciplines those he loves, so that we share in his holy character, as the scriptures

He Cares About You

Casting all your anxiety on him because he cares about you (1 Peter 5:7) You know what is the secret to being able to cast your anxieties on him? Knowing that he cares for you. If you do not believe that someone cares you will not share your anxieties and burdens with them. Knowing that God cares and values you makes a difference. Look at the birds of the air; neither do they sow nor reap nor gather in storehouses, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than them? (Matthew 6:26-34) Birds don't sow to have seed to eat later, they don't gather food for the winter, yet God feeds them. Look at the lilies and how they grow, not toiling nor spinning. If he cares for the birds and clothes the flowers in such glory, how much more will he value and care for you? What do you have to be anxious about if you know he cares about you? If men being bad know how to give good things to their children how much more will God give good things to his children who ask.

Children of God

but as many as receiving him to them he gave the right to become children of God, the ones believing in his name, the ones born not from blood nor from fleshly will nor from a husband's will, rather from God (John 1:12-13) Something really significant happened in regard to the kingdom of God when Jesus came. When Jesus began his ministry he made this statement to Israel, " Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand ." It is really a statement to Israel to turn, and repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Things are changing in regard to the kingdom. I truly tell you, unless a person is born from above, he is not of the kingdom of God (John 3:3) Not of the kingdom of God is the same as saying not being children of God. Being born from above is the same as saying being born from God of the Spirit. What changed significantly in the new covenant is how one enters the kingdom of God; through being born anew.  Born gain is what some translate this word as. Nicodemus certa
